I am sharing this experience with the office of Dr. Mark Gregory – Oral, Facial and Implant Surgery so others can make an informed decision. My 93-year-old mother had a consultation on February 3, 2026, with a procedure scheduled for February 10. On February 4, we cancelled the surgery from her PCP's office after confirming that Dr. Gregory intended to sedate her, as the PCP declined to provide medical clearance for sedation and ordered a cardiac workup. At the consultation, the office collected $1,140.50. After the cancellation, I made multiple calls over several weeks requesting a refund and written confirmation of the same. During a phone conversation with the office manager on March 3, I was told that money would be retained for the consultation, and I finally received an email stating that a refund of $869.50 would be issued to my mother's debit card. The explanation given for both the amount of the refund and the delay was that the office was waiting to see how much insurance would pay and that refunds are issued on the 15th of the month. According to the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from insurance, the office filed the claim on Feb 4 and the claim was paid within a week. It also showed the patient’s responsibility for the consultation was $0 for this in-network provider. Despite this, no refund was issued for an extended period of time. Multiple follow-ups went unanswered. A bank dispute was ultimately required before the full amount was returned. This situation required significant time and effort to resolve and should not have required escalation to this level. I do not recommend this practice for any procedures.

My experience with the Mansfield location was a great one. Dr. Mark Gregory and his Staff were very Kind, Friendly and Thorough (Competent). From the start of my oral surgery to the end of it, I felt they’re The Best and I would go back again if I ever needed to. Great Job! High 5!
